Instructional Focus

Our instructional focus is centered around providing a coordinated effort to have all students of Athlone School show growth in numeracy and literacy across the curriculum. 

Growth is measured by:

  • Results of EPSB Highest Level of Achievement tests
  • Year-End Provincial Achievement Tests (grades 3 and 6)
  • Teacher observation
  • Student work
  • On-going school-wide literacy assessments
